Overview

Aging network equipment in buildings around campus need to be replaced. This work includes replacements in both the residence halls and the academic buildings and is led by the Enterprise Infrastructure Services (EIS) team in collaboration with University Residences and the vendor EdNetics.

 

Project Objective and Scope

The primary objective of this project is to successfully replace the aging network equipment with coordinated efforts from multiple groups on campus to minimize impact to building occupants as the upgrades are taking place. The PMO focus is to manage communication with key stakeholders in the academic buildings to build a schedule that supports EIS's needs to accomplish these upgrades while minimizing the impact to building occupants. 

Status Summary

Currently, the schedule for the second cycle of network equipment upgrades is being worked on.
