Overview
This is a project to implement the AppArmor smartphone app to supplement emergency communication methods, including mobile Blue Light phones, as well as non-emergency communication methods for students, staff, and faculty as well as the wider campus community. The project will transition the University Police Department and the Emergency Management & Business Continuity unit to the AppArmor application and decommission the LiveSafe application.
Status Summary
The project team has been formed and a kickoff meeting held to announce the project. Work related to the app stores is on hold until staff from IT are available. App Armor content has been reviewed and the project team is working through questions and decisions.
